Volleyball ACCtion: Sunday, November 1 Nov 2, 2009
Sophomore Simone Asque and senior Brittani Rendina combined to lead the Virginia volleyball team to an exciting 3-2 (25-18, 23-25, 25-22, 23-25, 15-10) victory over Miami on Sunday afternoon in Memorial Gymnasium. Asque landed a career-high 29 kills, her third 20-kill performance in the past three matches, while Rendina led the defense with a season-best 34 digs her second career 30-dig match. (Theacc.com)
Volleyball To Host Virginia At 7:00 p.m. On Saturday, Oct. 3 Sep 23, 2009
The game time had yet to be announced but with the schedule of a 3:30 pm kickoff for the Demon Deacon football game, the Wake Forest vs. Virginia volleyball match will begin at 7 pm.
