Banachowski Inducted Into National Polish-American Sports Hall of Fame Jun 20, 2009
Throughout his more than four decades at the helm of UCLA volleyball, he has won six National Championships (3 NCAA), coaching 40 AVCA All-Americans and over 20 U.S. National Team members. Thursday's Hall of Fame honor was not the first for Banachowski, who became the first women's volleyball coach to be inducted into the National Volleyball Hall of Fame in October 1997.
