All one needs is a stout pole, heavy line, some good terminal tackle (hooks and sinkers) and most generally, a bait that is stinky. Prepared baits such as dough baits, garlic flavored hot dogs, perch, shad, crayfish or worms are the choice of most anglers and any or all of these baits will work in our area lakes and streams.
