Forty-eight of San Diego State athletics' best and brightest have been honored for their work in the classroom, as each was named to the 2009 Mountain West Conference Spring All-Academic team, the league office announced Tuesday. The women's track and field team accounted for 16 of the 48 SDSU student-athletes, headlined by All-American (Erfurt, Germany), who was the runner-up at this year's NCAA meet in the long jump.
