    Late stand by defense seals win for Central  Nov 22, 2009
    Ironically, the most important football game to be played in the 50-year history of Lindsey Nelson Stadium also turned out to be one the most exciting games to watch. While the game will always be remembered for its offensive performance, the fact that the Columbia defense stepped up to shutdown the fast-paced Mavericks offense in the final series should always be remembered.
